Award: On May 30th, 2013 The Cambridge Historical Commission presented John Buckley and Custom Building Solutions with The Cambridge Preservation Award for his work on restoring 8 Cleveland Street, Cambridge MA.

In 1880 , this home was constructed in a working class neighborhood in Cambridge, Massachusetts. After several attempts to 'modernize' it over the next century plus, it's Victorian identity was stripped away and covered up.

Thanks to this photo from the Cambridge Historical Society archives and careful peeling away of the layers of camouflage, we were able to reproduce an exterior very similar the original.
